It is true, here in the hig city we are arealdy lobbying the government against this so that our AI datacenters can work and produce shareholder value.
Those townsfolk think their livelyhoods are more important than progress, they are very mistaken

As satire this is absolutely true. In my county AWS is building 2 data centers right next to our reservoir. Also we are currently in a drought. I'm very concerned that the water authority will not meaningfully restrict AWS water usage.

It's satire. Unless you believe the satire itself is based on misinformation. I kinda don't know how much water AI datacenters actually take.
